The Story Behind the Work

Editorial wedding photography, guided with intention and care

Why I Photograph Weddings

I’ve always been drawn to creating things that last — pieces that live on long after the moment has passed. Wedding photography, for me, is about more than documenting a single day; it’s about preserving a story that continues to be part of your life. I love knowing that the images I create find a place in your home — on walls, on tables, in albums — becoming part of your everyday world. Through photography, I’m able to tell stories visually, capturing emotion, connection, and meaning in a way that feels honest and enduring. These photographs aren’t just for now; they’re meant to be returned to, shared, and held onto for years to come.

How I Work on a Wedding Day

On a wedding day, I take an intentional and guided approach. I actively direct and prompt when needed, helping you move, interact, and settle into moments that feel natural while photographing beautifully. You’ll never be left wondering what to do — I’m there to lead, adjust, and guide with clarity and ease.

I focus on light, composition, and flow throughout the day, shaping portraits and transitions so everything feels cohesive and unrushed. My guidance is calm and purposeful, allowing you to stay present while I take care of how everything comes together visually.

This approach creates wedding imagery that feels editorial and polished, without losing warmth or authenticity — photographs that feel effortless, confident, and true to the experience of the day.

A Little About Me

I’m Amir, a wedding photographer based in Toronto, working with couples across Southern Ontario and beyond. My work is rooted in editorial photography — refined, intentional, and designed to feel natural in front of the camera.

I work with couples who want to feel confident, comfortable, and themselves on their wedding day, even if they’ve never been photographed professionally before. I believe great wedding photography comes from trust, clear communication, and creating an environment where you don’t feel the need to perform — just to be present.

What matters most to me is creating photographs that last. Images that live beyond the screen — in albums, frames, and homes — and still feel meaningful years from now. My goal is to create work that feels personal, timeless, and visually strong, while staying true to the people and moments that make each wedding unique.
